love is ...

love is ...
having a husband that makes me a plate of pancakes while i'm in the shower ...
just because i happened to mention that they sounded delicious.

love is (also) ...
sweet kisses and hugs from two sleepy girly-girls as i rush off to work. and their requests for "mee tiss" and "mee hud" (cora-speak for more kiss & more hug) ... enough to (hopefully) last the full 8 hours until i can get home for some more.

this post brought to you by ... spriteskeeper ... the individual responsible for making sure that i get a post completed by friday's spin cycle assignment ... delving into my amazing ability to procrastinate, just about anything ... it was really great that my family gave me a post idea this morning.

I do love a pancake-makin' hubby!! Mine is up for that every once in a while. It rocks.

Happy V-Day!

Mmm, pancakes! That is definitely love! Whenever John brings me food in bed, I'm all his. After I eat. :-)

Wow, pancakes? Yum. I mean, be good for HASAY's sake. Ok, have some pancakes.

More kisses and hugs are the best. They're few and far between around here these days with the toddler angst in the air.

LOL-when my sister was pregnant with my nephew, her husband used to bring her glasses of milk to drink in the shower because she was SO HUNGRY!

Isn't toddler-speak the sweetest thing ever? My little guy is really starting to enunciate better and I already miss the baby words he's mastered!

My kids and I use "kissing hands"-an idea we got from a picture book with that title. The book wasn't great, but the concept rocks, and it really helps us get through the day without one another!

Happy Valentines Day! <3

I've never gotten pancakes, but I get coffee every day. That has to count for something, right?
