forgotten memories.

my aunt passed away today in a car crash ...
i know very few details.

which is fine, i suppose.

details won't change the outcomes.

but i find it ... funny? perhaps? ... that the memory that i have at this very moment of her ...

was riding in her car when she would pick me up and bring me to spend the weekend at her house. with her and my cousin (s).

and every time that she would step on the brakes ... she would put her arm out in front of me. as if to catch me from flying out of the car.

even though my seat belt would always protect me first.

i wish that someone would have reached their arm in front of her today.

** rest in peace, auntie pat. you are sorely missed. **
