hasay ... week 12 ... recipe

(don't know what hasay is?? head on over here ... casey will explain ... )

recipe for weight loss

1/8 cup of wii fit fun with family
1/8 cup of eating whatever the hell one wants (or can)
3/4 cup of stomach flu

mix it together ... and over the course of 4 days ... you too!! ... can lose 6 pounds!

(results not typical ... please consult your physician before attempting this - or any other - weight loss program ...)

yep.

that's what i got for my birthday last week ...

(besides the wii fit ...)

the girly-girls gave me a present (and didn't even make daddy pull out the wallet!) ... the stomach flu! yippee!

for me??? for my birthday??? you shouldn't have!

husband brought them to daycare ... and i slept ALL!!! DAY!!! LONG!!!

no joke. i woke up at 9, went back to bed at 9:30 ... woke up at 4:30 ... took a nap at 6 ... woke up at 8 ... helped get kids to bed ... went to bed by 9:30. somewhere in there ... i ate a popsicle and a handful of cheerios.

i'm pretty sure THAT is what caused the weight loss. but, i haven't gained it back ... that's worth something, isn't it??

my goal for the week?

keep the number moving down ... although i'm not expecting any 6 pounders again soon! ... and keep up with my work outs. wish me luck!

It's always fun to lose weight, huh? At least you got to catch up on some sleep?

Feel better soon! (Here's to keeping off those 6 pounds!)

oh groan! I'm sorry--and happy belated birthday. The problem (for me) with this type of weight loss is that as soon as I drink a glass of water, or a chocolate milkshake or a dozen, you know, liquid, I gain it all back.

Hope you're all better!

As much as I would love to lose 6 lbs, I don't think I have the guts (get it? Guts? Ha!) to try it that way.
Hope you're feeling better!

Way to turn the stomach flu into a positive experience. Hope you're feeling better!!!

Well if you're keeping it off - it counts! Crappy way (ha!) to do it, though.

This minimizing of one's body is truly the ONLY benefit of the stomach flu. Well, I guess there's always the unsensored knowledge of exactly where the toilet is in need of cleaning. Just trying to look on the bright side is all.

Hope you're back up to speed!

Ugh, the stomach flu. Nothing is worse. Although there have been times that I've thought, "You know, a good virus would definitely help kick start losing those pounds."

Uck. Not a fun way to spend a birthday. Glad you're feeling better.

P.S. Just a wee bit jealous of your Wii Fit. :-)

Hope you can keep those pounds off! I'm like Marinka, except I think I gain the pounds back when I even LOOK at anything edible.

That sleeping all day long sounds marvelous. The stomach flu? Not so much. I hope you're feeling better soon and hey, six pounds is six pounds. Here's to a great week. Go HASAY!

Isn't it nuts that the only time we take a day off is when we can barely stand?

Not a fun way to lose weight but it is definitely a good way to get motivated after the holidays :) Good luck keeping it off ;) I hope you feel better!

Hmmmm, I just might be interested in some of that flu. I would really get to lose six pounds AND sleep all day? Tempting...

Hi, I was trying to comment on your 365-blog but I couldn't. Well, reading about you is like reading about myself. So, Wii fit is good? We have Sports and I have been thinking of fit too. Maybe next month...
Anyway, I'll be back checking your photos later on.
Happy belated birthday too!
